It seems that everyone began to winterize in October 2014. Yay Winter! But as the weather in the real world delivered snow, ice, more snow, and freezing temps, that sentiment seemed to wear off for a lot of us. I know that it did for me. My last piece was completed on January 30th. I had had enough of snow!
While in the real world, temps continued to be freezing and the ice and snow continued until the end of March, I could not wait for Spring. Art in the Park opened the exhibition "Green" on March 1, 2015. "As SIM owners and residents alike partake in the "greening of Second Life," converting winterized SIMs back into a spring / summer feel, we felt that a theme of Green was appropriate."
Now that it's finally warm, and my lawn really is green, I can look back on my work during the Winter 2014 - 2015. I've selected a sample based upon color tones and hues to present The Lavenders of Winter:
